Dr. FIRDOUS MON. K is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Arabic Language & Literature area at MES Mampad College. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Calicut, Kerala, India. He has around 9 years of experience in research and teaching. His areas of teaching interest include Migration Literature and Literary Criticism in Arabic Literature etc. His research areas are Optimism and Pessimism in the works of Mahjar Literature etc. He has full-time Three years of research experience as Research Scholar from the Research Centre, MUA College Pulikkal, Kondotty affiliated to the University of Calicut. He is a Research Supervisor of 4 Research Scholars and member of PG Board of Studies Committee of MES Mampad College (Autonomous). He has published 18 research papers in refereed national and international Journals including UGC care list like ‘ Kalikooth’ ‘Al Asima’ etc. He has presented several papers in international and national level conferences and writing columns in leading Malayalam news papers and Periodicals.
